Cochin Shipyard Limited Graduate/Technician Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Mini Ratna Schedule 'A' Company of the Government of India, has released the notification for engagement of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. A total of 139 training seats are available, including 61 Graduate Apprentice seats and 78 Technician (Diploma) Apprentice seats. Eligible candidates domiciled in Kerala who passed the prescribed qualification during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 can apply online through the NATS portal. The apprenticeship training will be for one year, with a monthly stipend of โน15,000 for Graduate Apprentices and โน13,000 for Technician Apprentices. Online applications can be submitted from 12 August 2026 to 1 September 2026.

Candidates must be Indian nationals and domicile of Kerala. Candidates must have passed the prescribed Graduate or Diploma qualification during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Graduate Apprentices require a Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized statutory university, institution or equivalent recognized professional body. Technician Apprentices require a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized State Council, Board, University or recognized institution. Diploma in Commercial Practice is required for the Commercial Practice discipline. Candidates holding equivalent qualifications must submit an Equivalency Certificate. Candidates must be above 18 years of age as on 01 September 2026.

In case of equal marks, seniority in the year of passing will determine relative merit, and where the passing year is also identical, the older candidate based on date of birth will receive precedence.

Cochin Shipyard Limited has notified 139 apprenticeship training seats consisting of 61 Graduate Apprentice seats and 78 Technician (Diploma) Apprentice seats.
