The State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on Regular and Contract basis for Information Systems Audit roles. The recruitment includes Assistant Vice President (IS Audit) on contractual basis and Deputy Manager (IS Audit) and Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant – Internal Audit) on regular basis. Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens from 23rd February 2026 to 15th March 2026.

Eligibility / Education Qualification
Assistant Vice President (IS Audit) – Educational QualificationB.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or equivalent OR BCA/MCA OR M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with minimum 50% marks from a Government recognized University/Institute.
Deputy Manager (IS Audit) – Educational QualificationB.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or equivalent OR BCA/MCA OR M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with minimum 50% marks from a Government recognized University/Institute.
Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit) – Educational QualificationChartered Accountant (CA) with active membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Experience RequirementAVP: Minimum 6 years experience with at least 3 years in IS Audit/Cyber Security Audit. Deputy Manager (IS Audit): Minimum 3 years experience with 2 years in IS Audit. Deputy Manager (CA): Minimum 1 year post qualification audit experience.
Desirable CertificationsCISA, CISSP, CISM, DISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CEH, GIAC (valid as on last date of registration).

Written ExaminationNo written examination.
Selection MethodShortlisting followed by Interview.
Interview MarksInterview carries 100 marks.
Merit ListPrepared based on interview marks only.
Tie-breaking RuleIn case of tie, older candidate ranked higher.
