| CET-Based Shortlisting | Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will invite candidates based on merit obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST), both of which are qualifying in nature. |
| Physical Measurement Test (PMT) | PMT is qualifying only. Male (General): Height 170 cm, Chest 83 cm un-expanded with 4 cm expansion. Male (Reserved): Height 168 cm, Chest 81 cm un-expanded with 4 cm expansion. Female (General): Height 158 cm, Chest not applicable. Female (Reserved): Height 156 cm, Chest not applicable, as per latest reservation policy. |
| Physical Screening Test (PST) | Candidates qualifying PMT will appear for PST. Male: 2.5 km race in 12 minutes. Female: 1.0 km race in 5 minutes. Ex-Serviceman: 1.0 km race in 6 minutes. |
| Shortlisting for Knowledge Test | Candidates qualifying PMT and PST will be shortlisted category-wise in the ratio of 1:10 against advertised posts to appear for the Knowledge Test. |
| Knowledge Test Weightage | Knowledge Test will carry 97% weightage in the final merit. |
| Additional Weightage | Maximum of 3 additional marks will be awarded for NCC certificates: NCC ‘A’ – 1 mark, NCC ‘B’ – 2 marks, NCC ‘C’ – 3 marks (for Constable posts). |
