| Important Note | Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering are NOT eligible to apply. |
| Mode of Examination | MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) / OMR based examination. |
| Examination Structure | The examination will be conducted in two parts: Part-A and Part-B. |
| Part-A Details | Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati and English Comprehension (30 marks). Total: 90 marks. |
| Part-B Details | Questions related to technical qualification and its applications. Total: 120 marks. |
| Total Questions & Marks | A total of 210 questions will be asked for 210 marks. |
| Duration | Total time allotted is 3 hours (180 minutes) for both parts combined. |
| Negative Marking | 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. |
| Minimum Qualifying Standard | Minimum qualifying marks are 40% separately in Part-A and Part-B. |

| Initial Salary | For the first five years, a fixed salary of Rs. 26,000/- per month will be paid as per Finance Department Resolution dated 18/10/2023. |
| Pay Scale After Five Years | After completion of five years of satisfactory service, candidates will be appointed on a regular basis in Pay Level-4 with a pay scale of Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- as per the 7th Pay Commission. |
