Western Railway Apprentices Recruitment 2026
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Western Railway has released a centralized notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025–26. A total of 5,349 apprenticeship slots are notified across various trades, divisions, and workshops under Western Railway. Online applications start from 21 February 2026 and the last date to apply is 23 March 2026.

| Other Conditions | Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible. Candidates whose ITI results are awaited are not eligible. |

| Merit Basis | Selection will be based on merit prepared from average percentage marks of Matriculation (10th) and ITI examination, with equal weightage. |

| Merit List Preparation | Merit list will be prepared by taking the average of percentage marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50%) and ITI examination. |
| Tie-Breaking Rule | If marks are equal, older candidate will be preferred. If date of birth is also same, candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be preferred. |
| Document Verification | Final selection is subject to verification of original documents and medical fitness. |
| Stipend | Stipend will be paid as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Railway Board rules applicable from time to time. |
