Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the notification for recruitment of Civil Judges (Junior Division) in Odisha Judicial Service 2026. A total of 78 vacancies have been announced. | Experience | At least 03 years of practice as an advocate as on 01 April 2025. Experience as Law Clerk/Research Assistant to a Judge or Judicial Officer will also be counted. |
| Nationality | Candidate must be a citizen of India. |
| Other Requirements | Must be of good character, sound health, and able to read, write and speak Odia. Must have passed Odia test equivalent to Middle English School standard. |
| Preliminary Examination | Objective type exam with 100 questions (100 marks) and negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. |
| Subjects (Prelims) | Constitution of India, CPC, CrPC, Evidence Act, IPC/BNS, Limitation Act, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Law, Specific Relief Act, etc. |
| Main Examination | Written exam consisting of compulsory and optional papers. |
| Compulsory Papers | General English including translation, essay, precis writing and procedural laws. |
