NationalityCandidate must be a Citizen of India or a person eligible under Government of India rules.
Age LimitMaximum 28 years as on 16 August 2026. Upper age relaxation is applicable for OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Government Servants, Meritorious Sportspersons, Widows, Divorced Women and Women Judicially Separated as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification - Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1, 3 & 5)Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized University with completion of the course within the prescribed duration and proficiency in the use of Computers.
Educational Qualification - Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized University OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32 from a recognized Institution.
Stenography QualificationCandidates applying for Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer posts must possess English Stenography speed of 60 words per minute and proficiency in the use of Computers.
Experience (Diploma Holders)Candidates possessing Diploma in Commercial Practice (DCP), Diploma in Commercial & Computer Practice (DCCP) or equivalent Diploma must have one year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer. Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by BOAT under the Apprentices Act, 1961 shall also be considered equivalent.
CGPA CriteriaWhere both percentage and CGPA are mentioned in the Degree Certificate, either criterion should satisfy the prescribed eligibility norms. CGPA conversion into percentage is not permitted unless specifically mentioned in the official guidelines.

Candidates possessing Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 along with Computer Proficiency for Assistant/UDC posts are eligible. For Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer posts, candidates should possess Graduation or Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with the prescribed qualification, English Stenography speed of 60 w.p.m. and Computer Proficiency. Educational qualifications vary according to the notified post.
