Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2027-Apply for 248 Vacancies
The Indian Navy has released the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Recruitment 2027 notification for 248 vacancies in Executive, Education and Technical Branches. Eligible unmarried men and women candidates can apply online for various entries including General Service, Pilot, Air Traffic Controller, Logistics, Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre, Education, Engineering, Electrical and Naval Constructor branches. Selected candidates will undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala and will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenants in the Indian Navy. Applications are invited from eligible unmarried men and unmarried women candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in various Executive, Education and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy. Candidates must possess the prescribed BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, MSc, MA, M.Tech or equivalent qualifications with minimum required marks depending upon the entry applied for. Final year students are also eligible subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions before joining the Indian Naval Academy.

Indian Navy has announced 248 vacancies under the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Entry Jun 2027 Course. Vacancies are available in Executive Branch, Education Branch and Technical Branch including GS(X), Pilot, Air Traffic Controller, Logistics, Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre, Engineering, Electrical and Naval Constructor entries.

Selected candidates will be inducted as Sub Lieutenant Officers in the Indian Navy. The initial gross monthly salary is approximately ₹1,20,000 along with Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and various service benefits. Additional allowances such as Flying Allowance and Submarine Allowance are admissible for eligible branches.
