Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) has released its short notification for upcoming Probationary and generalist Officer for the FY 2025-26. ECGC is a government-owned export credit provider under the ownership of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Starting date for applications is from 11 November 2025 and closing date is December 2025. The ECGC PO exam pattern consists of an Objective Test (Reasoning, English, Quant, GA & Computer Awareness) and a Descriptive Test for essay and précis writing, followed by an interview round. It evaluates candidates’ analytical, language, and general awareness skills comprehensively.

| Stage 1 | Online Objective Examination — The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions for 1 mark each, covering five subjects: Reasoning Ability, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, and sectional timing is applied for every test. |
