Bihar BSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2025
The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced one of its biggest recruitment drives of the year, inviting applications for 24,492 inter-level posts across clerical, revenue, and other state government departments. The vacancies cover multiple educational qualifications—from 10+2 (Intermediate) to graduation—and the age limit generally ranges from 18 to 37 years for male candidates, with applicable relaxations for female and reserved category applicants. There has been an increase in vacancies and last date of application has been extended till 15th January 2026.

| Stage 1 | Preliminary Examination — Objective type test consisting of 150 questions for 600 marks. Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. |
| Stage 2 | Main Examination — Conducted for candidates shortlisted from the prelims. It includes Paper 1 (General Awareness/ Hindi language) and Paper 2 (General Knowledge, Mathematics, and Reasoning). Each paper carries 100 marks. |
| Stage 3 | Document Verification — Candidates who qualify in the mains examination are called for verification of educational and category certificates. |
| Final Selection | Merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the Main Examination, subject to successful document verification. |
