BEL Senior Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2026

Candidates must be serving or retired Ex-Servicemen from the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force holding the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO). Applicants should possess a Diploma in Engineering in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical discipline and have a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification service experience. Candidates should have been discharged from service on or after 01 June 2021.

A total of 17 vacancies have been announced for Senior Assistant Engineer (E-I) posts on fixed tenure basis. The vacancies are distributed among Electronics (10), Mechanical (5) and Electrical (2) disciplines. Reservation has been provided for UR, OBC, SC and ST categories under the Ex-Servicemen quota.

Selection will be based on a Written Test followed by an Interview. Candidates qualifying the written examination will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:7 against the notified vacancies. Final selection will be based on performance in the selection process and document verification.

Selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of Rs. 30,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,20,000. In addition to basic pay, candidates will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Perquisites at 35% of annual basic pay, Medical Benefits, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Group Insurance and Performance Related Pay as per company rules.

Candidates must ensure they satisfy all eligibility conditions regarding age, qualification and experience before applying.
