Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES Ltd.) is a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. | Minimum Marks Requirement | General/EWS and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates applying for unreserved posts must have First Class Degree/minimum 60% marks. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD) must have at least 50% marks for consideration against reserved posts. |
| Recognized Degree | The candidate must possess a Degree recognized by AICTE from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India, or educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of UGC Act,1956. Sections A & B of Institution of Engineers (India), treated as equivalent to Degree by Govt. of India and recognized by AICTE, are also accepted. |
| CGPA/Percentage Conversion | If the marksheet does not show percentage, the candidate must provide the university-issued conversion formula. If no formula exists, an undertaking must be submitted from the university,and minimum 6 out of 10 CGPA will be considered as 60%. |

| Stage 1 – Written Test | 125 objective-type questions (1 mark each), duration 2.5 hours, no negative marking. PwBD candidates get 50 minutes extra time. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 50%, SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD (reserved posts) – 45%. |
| Stage 2 – Interview Shortlisting | Candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies. |
| Stage 3 – Interview | Interview weightage: 40% (Technical & Professional Proficiency – 30%; Personality, Communication & Competency – 10%). Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 60%, SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD (reserved posts) – 50%. |
| Stage 4 – Final Merit | Final merit list prepared based on Weighted Score → Written Test (60%) + Interview (40%). No minimum qualifying marks required in aggregate. |
