Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is India’s largest government-owned oil and gas company, operating under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It plays a central role in meeting the country’s energy needs and is recognized as a Maharatna PSU, which is the highest status given to public sector enterprises in India. | Stage 1: Merit List Preparation | Selection based on percentage of marks (aggregate of all semesters/years) in the prescribed qualification. Preference given to candidates applying for apprenticeship for the first time. In case of tie, older candidate (DOB) is ranked higher; if same DOB, higher Matriculation marks considered. |
| Stage 2: Document Verification | Shortlisted candidates, as per merit and availability of seats in respective trades/disciplines, are called for document verification. |
| Stage 3: Medical Fitness | Candidates must meet the minimum physical fitness standards as per the Apprentices Act and subsequent amendments before engagement. |
