| Main Examination | Seven descriptive papers — Language, Essay, GS-I, GS-II, GS-III, GS-IV, GS-V. Each paper 200 marks. Total 1400 marks. |
| Interview / Personality Test | Interview carries 150 marks, added to Mains for final merit. |
| Final Merit | Calculated based on Main Exam (1400 marks) + Interview (150 marks) = 1550 marks. |
